My name is Belén Garrido Förster. I am an artist, illustrator, and designer based in Canada, originally from Mexico (est. 2000). I speak three languages (Spanish, English, German) but my favourite form of communication is through art. I recently graduated from Alberta University of the Arts with a Bachelor of Design in 2024.

I am a huge fan of the little things. Finding joy in quotidian occurrences such as eating a bowl of warm pasta, a genuine connection with another human, or looking at an illustration that makes me smile. I also really enjoy cinema, my loud and loving family, and laughing (a lot- maybe a little too much)
